Masala Raita | Easy Yoghurt Dip for Biryani | How to make Masala Raita| Stepwise pictures


                       
 

HI Supermoms,

I had cooked Vegetable Biriyani for lunch today and wanted to make a simple raita to accompany it. I have tasted this raita at a friend's place in Bangalore. Tasty,simple and hardly takes 10 minutes to prepare. If you are busy with other things and want to spend the least time in kitchen, this raita is your saviour!

INGREDIENTS

Finely chopped tomato( deseeded),onions,cilantro/mint leaves
Dahi wada masala (optional)
Kashmiri Mirch powder
Salt to taste.
Curd- 1 cup ( whisked)
Water-1/2 cup

Now, let us start preparing the masala raita.

1. Cut the veggies.



2.Whisk the curd well .Add salt and half cup water to dilute it.


3.Add the veggies and the dahiwada masala powder( I added just 1/2 tsp) and whisk again.



4. Now pour this raita into a serving bowl and garnish with the kashmiri chilli powder. Cling wrap and store it in the refrigerator in case you are going  to use it up for dinner later in the day! 



                       
 

It is such a time saving yet delicious raita! It is perfect when you are making for a huge gathering too!
