Hi Supermoms,
Today, I am going to share a traditional recipe that I make very frequently . A TamBrahm 'Ellai Sappadu' or the traditional banana leaf meal is incomplete without a 'vellarikkai thayir pachadi'.
It is served along with carrot kosumalli . Fresh cucumber and grated coconut are mixed along with whisked curd and then tempered with spices. This dish can be prepared in just two steps.
The cucumber pachadi is soothing and tastes really good even if served cold. It can be a great side dish to pulav, sambar rice , Biryani and any other rice varieties.
Recently I made sambar sadam for lunch and this pachadi was a great accompaniment. It takes under 10 minutes to prepare this dish . It is a great way to add cucumbers in your diet. Do try and you will love it.
