Rasam Thali

Hi Supermoms,

I love to cook meals that have variety of vegetables with basic spices.

Somedays all I want to cook is a good rasam. Thankfully, everyone in the family are happy with a rasam meal. Steaming hot rasam with rice and ghee can be so comforting. Even today, I had cooked a milagu rasam ( pepper rasam) on my husband's request. So soul satisfying and healing . 

This Rasam thali has a steamed, pan fried and a raw vegetable. All the three takes less than 20 minutes to cook in total. When the rasam is simmering, you can cook the vegetables. Do keep rice in parallel and your entire lunch can be prepared within one hour ( including the time for chopping vegetables). You can add fresh grated coconut in all the vegetables (if you like) to make it more tasty . 

There is no onion and garlic in the meal. Satvik and healthy Rasam Thali is my kind of clean eating.
