DAHI KE SHOLAY

Delicious Dahi kebabs makes an excellent starter for dinner or a light evening snack.


Basic Ingredients:
1.Hung curd 
2.finely shredded green,yellow and red capsicum
3.All purpose flour/maida
4.turmeric,chilli powder,coriander powder,anardana
5.bread crumbs


STEP 1:

Pour curd in a muslin cloth.Tie it and hang it for 4 to 5 hours. This will drain all water and you will get hung curd.

STEP 2:

Take shredded red,yellow and green capsicum and mix it with the hung curd. add a little salt. Your stuffing is ready.

STEP 3:

Take 4 spoons of Maida.Add a pinch of turmeric,chilli powder, salt, coriander powder,anardana(pomegranate seeds powder) according to your taste . Mix well and add water to form a thick paste. 









STEP 4:
Make small balls (shape is your choice) of the hung curd mixture,dip it inside the maida paste and roll it over the bread crumbs so that the outer shell becomes non sticky. Now refrigerate this for at least half an hour.


STEP 5:

Heat oil in a pan for deep frying. I have used Olive Pomace oil. Check the temperature of oil and deep fry the kebabs. 

Your delicious DAHI KE SHOLAY is ready to be seved with green chutney/sour cream/tomato sauce/Mint chutney.
