This is another healthy TIFFIN BOX recipe. It is easy to make and healthy too...more importantly it is sure to get approval from your kids ! I'm sure it would become a permanent recipe in your kitchen!
Now let me get to the recipe.
BASIC INGREDIENTS
1.Sweet corn
2.Finely chopped onions and capsicum
3.cheese slices
4.chilli flakes and Italian herbs powder(parsley,oregano alone too would give a good flavour)
5.butter
7.burger buns(store bought or you can bake the previous day)
PROCEDURE
STEP 1:
Boil the sweet corns in the microwave with little water for 4 minutes.
STEP 2:
In a large bowl,mix onions,capsicum,steamed corn,chilli flakes,mixed herbs,salt(if req.), and mix.
Cut the cheese slices into small pieces and mix together with the vegetables.You stuffing is now ready.
STEP 3:
Grease the toaster with butter on both sides and preheat it for 2 minutes.
STEP4:
Slit the burger buns into half and apply little butter. Then pack the burger with the stuffing and grill it for 6 minutes(approximately). Initially the toaster will not close due to the size. Do not force close it.
Your delicious GRILLED BURGER BUNS are ready to be packed for TIFFIN BOX or to be seved hot with ketchup. Your children are sure to love you for this yummy snack. It is always fun to make healthy food tasty.
