Serves: 4

1 cup = 250 ml cup

Ingredients:

1 cup radish greens

1 large onion (roughly chopped)

1 dry red chilli ( adjust according to your spice preference)

1-2 garlic cloves

2 gooseberries/amla(boiled and de-seeded)

2 tsp coconut oil or sesame oil

HOW TO CLEAN RADISH GREENS

Remove the thick stem in the centre of the leaf and discard them. You can use the remaining parts of the leaf.

You can watch how I clean the Radish Greens in the video below

Method:

1. Heat a pan with oil and fry onions , garlic and chilli.

2. Add the radish greens, gooseberries, salt and allow the radish greens to release water and wilt.

Note: This step will take approximately 6-7 minutes.

3. Transfer the radish greens mixture into the jar of a mixer and grind to a smooth chutney consistency.

Note: You can add water depending upon the chutney consistency you prefer.

Optional step:

Heat a ladle with oil and temper with chana dal, urad dal, mustard seeds and a pinch of asafoetida. Pour it into the chutney, mix and serve along with your tiffin.
