Farali Green Chutney | Phalahari Green Chutney | Navratra Recipes By Masterchefmom| Gluten Free and Vegan Recipe

Hi Supermoms,

Indian Snacks and Tiffins are almost always served with a chutney.

Chutneys are of different kinds and they are simple , quick and easy to make too. During the Navratras, onion and garlic are avoided in the diet. More fruits, vegetables and grain free menu is cooked during these nine days of fasting.

This Farali Green chutney is made using coriander , green chillies, ginger, coconut ( optional) and any fruit of your choice ( apples taste best) is served along with Vrat/Fasting snacks like Sabudana Vada, Kuttu Vadas etc., 'Phalahari' Chutney literally translates to 'Fruit based'chutney.

You can use the small jar of your mixer/mixie or a good blender to grind this chutney. Use fresh coriander leaves to get the best tasting chutney.
